Welcome to Floresta Ethiopia (FE)
Empowering Communities, Restoring Environments
At Floresta Ethiopia / Floresta, we believe that forests are more than just trees—they are lifelines. Providing wood, food, income, and watershed protection, forests play an integral role in ensuring a stable and sustainable food supply. Ethiopia is blessed with abundant natural resources, including fertile soil, favorable climate, water, and wildlife. However, the country faces a dire challenge: rapid deforestation and land degradation. These issues jeopardize sustainable agriculture, forestry, and food security.
Our Shared Development Programs
THREE PARTS – ONE PROGRAM
We believe that these three areas, spiritual, economic, and environment are strongly linked, with each having a significant effect on the other two. Any given activity or technology may be targeted at improving one of the three conditions, We also believe that these three areas impact or are directly related to many of the other areas. For example, the quality of water supply is influenced by the quality of the environment.
